Can you actually own the copyright on ‘copyright’?

‘Copyright ©’ This is one of my favourite t-shirts so far in the blog, can anyone actually own the copyright to ‘copyright’? Holding copyright is where you hold a set of exclusive rights to regulate the use of a particular idea or piece of information. Usually these rights last for a certain period of time. The symbol for copyright is usually expressed using the following symbol: ©, although it can be written as either (C) or (c).
